Tafseer Majadi was published in the period when the hearts and minds of the Muslims of the subcontinent were disturbed by the fear of the British government and Christian missionaries were busy to convert Muslims into Christianity. Islamic teachings were declared conservative. Abdul al-Majid, a young man from Daryabad, also became unbelievers and called "Rationalist" for ten years, but the efforts of some religious books and efforts of some religious figures made him to return to the Islam again. Then, on the basis of this theory, he wrote the Quran's interpretation so that the thoughtful minds can turn back to Islam and non-Muslims; especially Christians can come to Islam. In this commentary, he denounced the objections, doubts and the wisdom from ancient religions, the writings of their religious books, the writings of the Jewish and Christian writers, by the investigation and other evidence of the modern era. In this commentary of the Quran, he criticized innovative people and liberals, and showed the injustice of the orientalists through arguments and solid evidences. He worked for towhead to prove truth and for shirk to be false. He highlighted the greatness of the Quranic words through compatibility and comparison between The Quran and the other heavenly books and proved that the Quranic verses are according to the applicable nature.
