Collective thinking of Muslim Scholars termed as Al-ijtihād al-jimā’ī is considered to be the most common style of in current ijtihād era. Hanafī school of Fiqh is rightly labeled as pioneer in this regard. Now a days, several Fiqh academies that opt this style have been established in Muslim and non Muslim countries. Majlis-e-shar’ī Mubarakpur, India is one of these academies. This article is aimed to focus on this academy by bringing its brief introduction, methodology it opted and some of recommendations this academy has issued regarding contemporary jurisprudential issues .The authors have concluded that the academy, in its 25 sittings up till now, has addressed several modern social, economic and medical issues along with some modern issues relating to Ibādāt. Opting an exclusive methodology of ijtihād, confining to Hanafī school of fiqh and having special focus on the jurisprudential quotations of Mawlāna Ahmad Raza Khān, Mufti Amjad Al Ali and other numerous scholars of Barelvi school of thought, this academy has contributed a lot to contemporary fiqh studies and to prove that Islam is practicable in all seasons and for all generations specially for millennials
