War; History and Importance for Human Society
Keywords:
War, society, human relationsAbstract
War is always remained an integral part of the human society from its beginning till now even in this 21st century. It is as old as the human presence. War is considered as a symbol of destruction, massacre, cruelty and brutality. Apparently this angle of the view is thought to be justified keeping in to account the happenings and results of any war. When we keenly study the human history, this perception looks to be perfectly true in most of the events and occasions. But on the other hand in many cases, war seems to be a great blessing and a source of relief, defense and protection for the oppressed segments of the human society. Especially Islamic revolution changed the war completely, its name, motives, procedures, ethics, results and impact on the human society. After emergence of Islam, jihad has become a blessing for humanity.
