Abstract

Multiple views regarding labour have been around in different areas of human history. In order to survive, man needs food, clothes and a roof over his head, and he strives for them. Mankind cannot nurture without the virtue of labour and hard-work.  In other words, mankind is linked with life on the basis of labour. This rule applies to people, both individually and generally.  Man works with the assistance of tools. It is impossible to understand the process of production without sources.  All the people engage in labour, both physical and mental, for the betterment of society as a whole.  This article will cover the ideologies of Shah Wali-Ullah and Adam Smith regarding labour and how two people existing in the same period of time, butat different parts of the world, hold diverging outlooks on the same matter of labour.
