Abstract

            Intazar Hussain being the most prominent Urdu column writer of his age introduced novel metaphors in political and cultural canvas of Asia. The focus of this article is to explore the vision of Intazar Hussain regarding reflection of Civilization and political vision through columns. His effort to bridging the gap between cultural folk tales and religion is marvelous which is highlighted in the article. Intazar Hussain found his voice early in his literary career in depicting characters that were in search of an identity and lost dreams. But migration is a theme of world literature and with conflicts making it a global issue.
