The research aims to collect the prophetic hadiths and Islamic traditions contained in the virtues of Surah Yā Sīn, and explored them critically based on the hadith’s methodological study. The importance of this study is derived from the fact that this surah has a special status in the view of the scholars as well as the public, also, hadiths that mentioned its virtues are found to be in various categories such as authentic (Sahih), good (hasan), weak (dhaif), and fabricated (maudhu). The methodology of this research is adopting the inductive method by collecting all hadiths concerned with this subject, and then the critical approach is applied for exploring them based on the hadith’s methodological study. The research is divided into an introductory section related to the names of the surah, the number of its verses, and the reasons for its revelation and its themes. The second section is dedicated for all hadiths and traditions concerned with its virtues divided into three sub-sections: the authentic hadiths (Sahih) and the good ones (hasan), then the weak ones (dhaif), then the fabricated (maudhu), and it concludes with a statement of the properties of the surah through the confirmed hadiths and traditions related to it.
