Law, Ethic, ConcordanceAbstract
It is witnessed that some people make difference between law and ethics. The question arises that what is the relation of Shariah with Tariqah. In practical world we notice two groups in this connection, one is muftis and Qazis and other is Sufis. The group related to law observes the apparent shape of rights and obligations while the Sufis emphasize on the spirit and objectives of the law. Ethics cannot be separated from the law. Ethnic were the part of the law according to the early definition of Fiqh and Shariah. In Islam the emphasis on ethics has been described under the topic of Tassawuf, Ihsaan and Tazkiah. When Allah orders to obey legal obligations, at the same time He orders to observe Ihsaan. It is concluded that the individual and collective life depends on ethics. Law is only to provide justice in disputes and to streamline the transactions. Without ethics no society can even survive rather its development may be possible.
