Words according to their original construction have been divided into four types: (i) Definite (ii) General (iii) Common (iv) Preferred. The word that is definite, specifically leads to certain meanings and its application to certain things while general word encompasses some combined meanings including all. Quran; the last book of Allah Almighty, has been the core point of consideration of the Scholars of Muslim Ummah. This article reveals that "Khas" & "Aam" in the Quran have been discussed by Scholars of Islamic Jurisprudence & exegetes, what are its primary issues & implications and how these words result to diversification in interpreting Quran.
