Abstract

Quranic abrogation can be divided into three forms:

  1. Abrogation of recitation of the words of a verse as the Quran with its injunction.
  2. Abrogation of injunction (meaning) but remains recitation of its words as the Quran.
  3. The last one is abrogation of recitation of words of a verse as Quran but its injunction remains valid.

This article deals with the last form which is also a kind of Qiraat-e-Shaza (Rare recitation of Quranic verses). The writer has evaluated the objections raised against this last kind of Qiraat.
