وصف الرسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم عند هند و أم معبد
Keywords:
Hind, Umm-e-Maabad, SeerahAbstract
Prophet Muhammad (SAW) was peerless both in his high morals and physical beauty. Thus, obviously, we observe, many of the prophet’s companions tried their best to depict his moral and physical traits in detailed and succinct manners. And they delineated his commendable attributes in such a way that those who could not see him can visualize a general perception about his features. In this paper an attempt has been made to produce a comparative analysis of the works of Hind Ibn Abi Halah (RA)-a male companion of the Prophet and Umm-e-Maabad (RA)-a female companion of the prophet on the aforementioned issue. Both have described prophet’s traits in an excellent literary style and their writings reflect the manners of a male and a female’s thoughts and description with distinguished features.
