Abstract

ابن جوزی (م ۵۹۷ھ) کا شمار عظیم مفسرین اسلام میں ہوتا ہے۔ جنہوں نے قلم و قرطاس اور زبان و بیان کے ذریعے امت مسلمہ کی رہنمائی کا فریضہ انجام دیا۔ ان کی جہاں ایک طرف بے شمار علمی خدمات ہیں، وہیں تفسیر جیسے اہم فن پر بھی ان کی گہری نظر رہی ہے۔ آپ کی ایک گراں قدر علمی تصنیف ’’فنون الافنان فی علوم القرآن‘‘ ہے، جس میں آپ نے اپنی عالمانہ اور تحقیقی صلاحیتوں کے ذریعے علوم قرآن کے حوالے سے ایک جامع اور معلوماتی دستاویز تیار کی ہے۔
