This paper is discussed the main concepts of Islamic thought for leadership in the light of poetry of famous Islamic poet and philosopher Allama Muhammad Iqbal. There are uncountable important qualities for the leader of every nation, particularly the leader of Muslim society. He focused on the youth leadership to bring for them their bright future, because they have key place for resolution in the society, as well as he illustrated the real Islamic society in light of Quranic rules. According, this paper is divided into three sections, after the short preface. In the first section, there was discussion about the life of the poet. In the second sections, the researcher explained the some basic principles for leadership and guidance qualities in the light of poetry of Allama Muhammad Iqbal. As you know that poetry of Allama Iqbal was in Urdu and Persian language, so all stanzas of poetry existed in this research were translated into Arabic language with the short explanation and argumentation. At the end, the researcher brought the results and fruitful suggestions for more study in details, and references.
