The arrangement and coherence of the Quranic verses and Suras are an important aspect of the Holy Quran. According to one theory of Nazm-al-Quran, each surah has a central theme around which the verses of the sura revolve. More or less many commentators have made it a subject of core discussion in their explanations with provoking thoughts and ideas. These trends of Nazm-al-Quran are thoroughly discussed in several old and new tafaseers specifically those written in the sub-continent. The outcome of the above lines, theory is that the Quranic verses and Suras are divinely interconnected in the text of the Quran, and hence carry special meanings. It is believed that several verses of identical meaning and similar purpose are such beautifully vivid and consciously connected with each other.
Our aim is to take an overview of the trends of Nazm-al-Quran in Tafasir of the Holy Quran written in the sub-continent. An analytical study of forthcoming books of commentaries and important effects of Nazm-al-Quran on Tafasirs has been discussed in this paper.
