Keywords:
Compilation of the Quran, Abu Bakr Caliphate Period, Quranic SciencesAbstract
After the death of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), Abu Bakr took the oath of the first Caliph of Muslim Ummah. In the earlier days of his Caliphate, he had to face social, political and religious problems in his state. Riddah wars and the refusal from Islamic obligation like Zakat by the Arab tribes had an attempt to denounce the image of flourishing Islam. Many Muslims like senior companions of the prophet Muhammad (SAW) were murdered during these wars. These were the causes to compile the Quran in Abu Bakr era of Caliphate.
