Uninterrupted (Mutawatir) Hadith and its Authenticity (A Critical study to the approach of Amin Ahsan Islahi)
Keywords:
Uninterrupted Hadith, Mutawatir, AuthenticityAbstract
In the view of Muslim scholars, any Hadith which has been transmitted by tawatur
and whose reporters based their reports on direct, unambiguous perception, with
renationalization would produce knowledge with certainty. Mutawatir has been
divided in two groups. The eminent Islamic scholar, Amin Ahsan Islahi framed the
principles to understand the Hadith literature. This article comprises the critical
analyses of Islahi’s views about existence and number of hadith Mutawatir.
