Abstract

قرآن مجید علم کا سرچشمہ ہے جبکہ جدید علم کی بنیاد مادہ پر ہے۔ اس میں ان حقائق کو زیر بحث لایا گیا ہے جو جدید علم کی ترقی میں سامنے آئے ہیں۔ جدید علم نے منطقی استدلال اور مشاہدات (observation) اور تجربات (experiments) کی بنیاد پر انسان کو ظاہری دنیا (phenomenal or physical world) کے بارے میں آگاہی دی ہے جبکہ اسلام غیر مادی دنیا (metaphysical world) کے حقائق اور اسرار میں بھی دلچسپی رکھتا ہے۔

یہ مضمون اسلامی اور سائنسی مکاتب فکر کے درمیان رد و بدل اور تحریر کے دائرہ کار (subject matter) کے حوالے سے مختلف سوالات پر روشنی ڈالتا ہے۔ اس میں یہ بھی وضاحت کی گئی ہے کہ قرآن پاک کس طرح سے اسلامی اور جدید سائنسی اصولوں کے مابین ایک مشترکہ بنیاد فراہم کرتا ہے، اور دونوں کے لیے سوالات اور جوابات میں ہم آہنگی کا ذریعہ بنتا ہے۔
